Weigh In Monday is here again!  I worked really hard this week.  I was determined to get rid of the funk and I did :)  I lost 5.6 this week!  I lost what I had gained with an additional .2!

Eating wise I did really well just staying within my points.  I try not to use my extra points that we get weekly (and if I do use them I don't use them all) but I did use a few this week.

My Step Bet is still going great!  Just finished week 4 and now on to week 5!  It has made me feel so accomplished when I finish a day and especially a week.  I definitely plan on doing another one when this one is finished. Let me know if you're interested and I may make a group myself on there.

Hope everyone has a fantastic week!

A day late and a dollar short....

Ok, so technically it's Tuesday but I did weigh in on Monday so there's that.  For a week and a half I had been in a funk with my journey.  Not yesterday but a week from yesterday I had a 3 lb gain on weigh in.  Then yesterday I had gained 2.  I came out of my funk on Thursday but it was to late to make a big difference in my weigh in.  So good news!  I'm back and better than ever....well for now anyways.

I joined a Step Bet for the first time and I'm currently on week 4.  I have really enjoyed it!  It has made me motivated to get up and moving.  And I know my steps aren't that much but on the next one I'm sure they will go up.

I'm pretty proud of myself about making an effort.   Travis and I were in Round Rock this past weekend and I had told him to pack his walking clothes.  Friday night we ended up taking a 2 mile walk to Academy!  It was 1 mile each way and we started to worry that it was going to rain on us.  Thank goodness for Uber!

I also have a new hobby!  I finally bought a Cricut!  I've had a lot of fun playing with it and figuring things out.  I can't decide if I'll make a little business out of it or not but for now it's just a fun hobby.  I've made a few things but the past could of days this is what I've done.

Yes, that is a cart to put my stuff on.  It makes it easier to put up when I need to.  I don't really have enough room in the guest room to set up a craft area and honestly I like doing it at the kitchen table.  I'm able to hang out with Travis while I craft.  One day I hope to have a room that I can make into a craft room.  And yes.....I have  decorated it with a few vinyl :)

Hope everyone has a great week!!

Goooooooddddd Mooorrrnninnngggg!   How are you?  Hope you're well!  Today's weigh in went good (if you can't tell by my writing "singing" good morning)!  I lost 2.6 lbs this week so my new total over all is 69.4 lbs gone!

For March my total was an even 5 lbs gone :)

This past weekend was a mental weekend for me.  When I started this in late August I had said when I reached a certain weight, that would be when I would go through my closet and start trying on the things that were to small and get rid of what was to big.  I hit that weight 6 lbs ago.  So I said I'll wait a week or so because of all the things I had going on during the weekends.  I wanted a Saturday or Sunday that I could basically lock myself in the closet, try the stuff on, and get it done.  I didn't want to start and stop a bunch of times. On Saturday I could not bring myself to do it.  My mind played games with me.  What if I tried things on and nothing had changed?  What if everything is still to small?  What if....what it.....what if!?  Even though I'm down nearly 70 lbs what if....

Sunday I decided to just do it.  So I went to the closet and started trying things on.  There were things that I knew was to big so I did try them on just to make sure and I ended up with a pretty big pile.  There were surprises when I tried on some jeans and jean capri's.  They fit!  They were a little snug but they fit!  I was so excited!  Now I just need for the weather to warm up for me to be able to wear them :)

On another note, I just need to brag on my husband.  He has been so amazing during this journey while he has been on his own journey.  While I've been working the Weight Watcher plan he has been counting calories.  He's lost over 100 lbs!  It's been great because we have gotten down a routine of measuring and weighing the meals I make and everything else.  He and I have our restaurants we feel "safe" to eat out at.  We tried this once before and I guess as a women I felt like I had to figure out his calories AND my points.  It was so overwhelming and I stopped.  This time around I just have to tell him what I've put into the recipe and he figures his own calories.   I'm so proud of him!
Happy Monday!! I was so excited when I woke up this morning because it’s Weigh In Monday and I knew I had done really great this week! I lost....6.2 this week!!

Again, not everyone is going to have a big loss like that and I am coming off of a gain so I was so stoked to see that.

This past week I didn’t take advantage of my extra weekly points to much until last night. I was having a sweet tooth and decided to make a Weight Watcher peach cobbler .  It was good (not as good as the real deal) and it wasn’t many points at all. It was about 4 points and worth it.   I also got in more water than I had been. It was something I was really working on this past week.

What day is your weigh in and how did you do?

Happy Weigh In Mon.....er...I mean Wednesday!  I have had a trying week with my plan.  I had every intention of staying on plan while I was in Austin for my husband's grandfathers funeral but it didn't happen that way.  I did great on making sure at least my portions weren't out of control but chose poorly on what I ate.  I gained .8 (there is a point before the 8 lol) and while it could have been so much worse I was kind of sad that I didn't get my Disneyland gain off.  It will happen this week or at least half of it.

{CORRECTION} I LOST .8 lol...I did not gain I LOST! I misread my WW ap earlier...oopsie

I had saw where a lady had pinned a picture with her weight loss for each month (I think it was a different year though) and thought how cute!  And to be able to see it in black and white to see how you did for the month and how continuous it is.  So I found this on Pintrest and started tracking in January.  I can't wait to see what it looks like at the end of the year.

I am starting a spring Dietbet!  And I want YOU to join me!  It's $35 to play, its 4 weeks, and you have the chance to either win you money back or more :)  It is so much fun!  Even though it's not really a competition with others it's fun to "compete" with them.  If you're a loser, you're a winner!

You know what day it is?  It's Weigh In Monday!

*This is a disclosure for any man reading this.  If you aren't sure you want to read what's next stop reading :)*

On today's weigh in I lost .8.  It's not what I was hoping for but I'm ok with it.  I stayed on point this week and I only used about 4 of my extra points but I started my period Sunday so I know that has a TON to do with it.  It never fails, when I start, I either don't lose at all or gain.  So I'm happy with the .8.  The  downfall though is I leave  for Disneyland Thursday morning and full disclosure.....I'm not counting points while I'm there.  I am going to watch what I eat and how much of it but if I want a Mickey shaped ice cream bar....I'm having a Mickey shaped ice cream bar.

But don't you just hate that.  When you know you've stuck to plan and did everything right but the scale doesn't show it?  I do.  But I don't let it get me down.  It's only one week.  I probably lost inches instead of pounds.  And I'm ok with that too.  I know I did what I was supposed to and it'll show at some point.....probably not on next weeks weigh in but the week after lol.

But maybe all the walking at Disneyland will counter act with what I eat....lol.  Happy Monday!

Weigh In Mondays

Hey ya'll!  It's weigh in Monday and I am so glad to say that.....I lost 5.2 lbs this week!!!

Ok....so let me start off by saying that the 5 lb loss does NOT happen every week.  I know some people will say "Oh, well, she had the sleeve surgery so that's why she lost the 5 lb" or "Why can't I lose 5 lbs a week like Christy".   Let me tell you, this only happens about every couple of weeks (ok more than a couple but you get the idea) and we are all different on how much we lose at a time.  Normally I lose about 2-3 lbs a week.  Last week I gained 2 lbs.  It wasn't from me not working my program it's just my body being mean to me and making me work harder.  And it worked.  I was a pretty good Weight Watcher girl this past week.  I had obstacles like Valentine's Day (I opted NOT to go to my favorite pizza place Jersey Girl Pizza for a heart shaped pizza ;), life, and Ranston's birthday dinner at Chili's.  Yes, Chili's does have a guiltless menu but let's be honest.....it does not look that appealing.  Especially when other people are ordering better looking items.   I had a side Cesar salad and a cup of the chicken enchilada soup.  It was a really delicious meal!   I did also have a few chips from the chip bowl but I counted those chips towards my extra points.  That's the thing.  You can still have any kind of food (unless it's the 66 point skillet chocolate chip cookie and then you better find like 8 people to share it with ;), it's about making better choices of the food you're eating to fit in your point range.

I have had my first goal set since I started and I'm 2 pounds from hitting it.  Since I started Weight Watchers I've lost 61 lbs. I'm so glad to be back on track :)

What goals are you hitting?  Have you started a weight loss journey also?  If so, how much have you lost?  I want to give you the praise you deserve!
